Wes Craven äußerst sich zu Scream 4

Vor Jahren hat er gesagt, dass es nie einen vierten Scream-Teil geben wird, dass es sich bei Scream definitiv um eine Trilogie handelt. Nun sieht die Sache möglicherweise anders aus, denn Regisseur Wes Craven lies folgendes verlauten: "Actually, I recieved a call about that for the first time the other day... obviously, I've been asked about that for a long, long time... I think that it's not completely off the table at this point, as far as the studio making it. I was asked if I'd be interested, but I said it would depend on the script. [Scream 4] isn't something that's around the corner or anything, they are now thinking about it" - also, schon früher hat man ihn bezüglich eines dritten Sequels angesprochen und er meint, dass das Thema nicht vom Tisch ist. Sein persönliches Interesse an einem solchen Projekt hängt vom Drehbuch ab. Fest steht: man spricht noch immer oder wieder über Scream 4.
