Casanova Reviews

Relevante Personen: Heath Ledger

"Hallstrom's effort, which stars the suddenly-ubiquitous Heath Ledger, is being described in press reports as "fun." The accents are reportedly awful, historical context is almost entirely lacking, and much of the dialogue consists of "throwaway lines." Despite all that, early reviews seem oddly charitable - it's hard to tell if critics are being paid off, or if the film is one of those rare works that actually makes being silly incredibly charming. Despite the potential weirdness of Lasse Hallstrom (My Life as a Dog, What's Eating Gilbert Grape) making a goofy comedy, let's all hope it's the latter. (Certainly Heath does - the last thing the poor boy needs on the heels of Brothers Grimm is another total disaster.)" - yahoo
